ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT January 22, 2015 Climate Change Commission Secretary Lucilee L. Sering and Imperial Homes Corporation (IHC) president and CEO Emma Imperial, shake hands after signing a memorandum of agreement forging a partnership between the Commission and IHC on the latter’s solar powered mass housing project in Sto.Tomas, Batangas, the first of its kind in the country. The Commission shall provide technical assistance to the project consisting of 1,000 houses which will have a 500-watt solar panel installed for free on electricity by as much as 40 percent. IHC has earmarked P600 million for the houses in the solar-powered community, while the solar panels will be funded the Enfinity-Imperial, IHC’s partner. -Manila Bulletin |
